Artemio Fochs an architect from the ETSAM, carry out his work as an architect directing LAAB Design (architecture laboratory in Metropolis Foundation), working different territorial levels nationally and internationally, developing from city projects (Penang, Malaysia), Masterplan (Qualia, Sitges) or architecture (Bilbao pavilion for Shanghai World exhibition 2010). In 2007 was selected for the exhibition YAS (Young Architects of Spain). Certified by the school CICE with a Master on Graphic Design and Communication Studies, he develops multimedia projects in parallel to his main work under the pseudonym MIO. Among his most prominent projects, we can find the sculpture “Light skin” with Esther Pizarro (Shanghai World exhibition 2010), multimedia model “Casa de las Conchas” with HCH (Domusae exposure), audiovisual pieces as “Blue”, “Horizon House” (OPEN statement) or “Hemeroscopium Worldcup” (Biennale di Venezia 2010).
