Nader Tehrani is a Professor and Head of the Department of Architecture at MIT SA+P. He is also Principal and Founder of NADAAA, a practice dedicated to the advancement of design innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and an intensive dialogue with the construction industry. Tehrani received a B.F.A. and a B. Arch from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1985 and 1986 respectively, and continued on to the Harvard Graduate School of Design where he received his M.A.U.D in 1991. Tehrani has also taught at Harvard Graduate School of Design, Rhode Island School of Design, Northeastern University, Georgia Institute of Technology where he served as the Thomas W. Ventulett III Distinguished Chair in Architectural Design, and Otis College of Art and Design where he served as a Donghia Designer-in-Residence. Tehrani has participated in lectures, symposia, and conferences at architecture and design institutions internationally, including the MOMA in NYC, the Buell Center at Columbia University, the Guggenheim Museum in NY and the Princeton University School of Architecture.
