Débora Mesa and Antón García-Abril are architects and partners of Ensamble Studio, a cross functional team with a solid research activity in search of innovative approaches to the architectural space and the technology it is built with. Both combine their professional vocation with a strong academic link through teaching and research. Together they created in 2009 the Positive City Foundation to give further development to their urban projects and soon they will found in MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) the POPLab (Prototypes of Prefabrication Laboratory) where they will continue their activity within a new framework of action, and where Anton Garcia-Abril has been appointed full professor this year.
